Why is a Christmas holiday in Uganda considered the best?
As some people were home with their families during this festive season, some were busy finding more about the unknown places for adventure. For those who spend their holiday in Uganda have an interesting story to tell especially for the first-time visitors. A holiday spend in this pearl of Africa is a lifetime experience as one get to enjoy numerous breathtaking activities which are hard to enjoy in other countries. For example, some tourists decided to track the mountain gorillas in the tropical rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable national park. They spend at least one day in the wild with the primates and they had a chance of playing with gorillas and also took some pictures for remembrance.
Whenever it comes to Christmas holidays, it’s a cultural practice in Uganda that people move from towns to villages as they go to spend the holiday with their loved ones. This leads to a reduction in the number of tourists who visit the national parks in the country especially the local people. However, different tour companies use this as an opportunity to invite visitors from different countries to come and go visit the different parks since there is less congestion. Actually, some people find it better to travel to this East African country during the Christmas holiday and some travel in large numbers together with their families.
While in the country, there very many activities one can take part in including, gorilla and chimpanzee tracking, mountain climbing, wildlife viewing, spot fishing, bird watching, cultural tours, nature walks, hiking and many more. All these are easily enjoyed during this period because they are cheaper and more interesting.
