Detailed Itinerary – 5 Days Uganda Safari
Day1: Transfer to Kibale National park.
Depart from your hotel to Kibale National park. This is one the tropical forests in Uganda and a home of habituated Chimpanzees and diverse wildlife. It is close to the proximity with Ndali lodge. The distance from Kampala to Kibale is 450 kilometers which is 5-6 hours.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ndali Lodge (Luxury)/Primate Lodge (Mid range)/Chimpanzee guest house (Budget).
Day 2: Chimp tracking in Kibale National park.
After breakfast, you will spend the whole day Kibale forest National Park. It is beautiful forest for chimpanzee tracking. While tracking chimpanzees, you will come across Red-tailed monkey and grey, L’hoestes, Colobus, Blues, cheeked Mangabey in the forest. There are also several bird species and butterflies within the forest. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon after go to Biggodi for a swamp walk.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest
After breakfast, you will take a 4 hour drive to Bwindi Forest National park. The park is located in South Western part of Uganda and is a home of half of the remaining Mountain Gorillas. The forest also boosts mammals like hogs, duikers, giant forest hogs.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Park
Today, you will spend the whole day tracking gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable forest. With the help of a guide, you will make your way through the mountain forest in search of these great apes. You will experience the excitement of observing these primates as they eat, rest and play.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast, you will be driven back to Kampala then be to Entebbe International Airport for your international flight. It will take you 8- 10 hours from Bwindi to Kampala then 45 minutes to arrive at the airport.
