When to book gorilla permits in Uganda
A gorilla permit is a key factor to Uganda gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. A gorilla permit is a document issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority to visitors/travelers that allows them to tracker habituated mountain gorillas in their natural environment. Bwindi and Mgahinga National Park are the only parks in Uganda where gorilla permits are required, and you require a gorilla permit to trek Uganda gorillas in these two National Parks which are both located in the southwest of Uganda.
