Hiking trails in Buhoma region -Buhoma sector is one of the best gorilla trekking areas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is located on the Northern side of Bwindi, Southwestern Uganda. Munyaga River trail
Munyaga river trail is one of the best nature walking trails in the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This nature hiking trail is the easiest to trek through by hikers and takes nature lovers through the valley lengthways the bizenga river connecting the Munyaga River. It is an incredible trail to enjoy the sight of numerous birds, primates, and floral species.
Hikes through the Munyaga River trail begin from the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park taking you along the River Ivy-Nkuringo trail. You will also be in a position to view the scenic waterfalls plummeting 33m.
The Ivy River trail
The Ivy River trail is 14km and it is considered the longest hiking trail in the Buhoma region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
