Day 1: Transfer to Budongo forest
Begin your day with a taste of Uganda’s tea or coffee and after, you will be picked up by our driver guide ready to embark northwestern Uganda to Budongo forest about 4 to 5 hours’ drive from Kampala capital city.
Drive via Kampala-Luweero route with a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. From here, you have a chance to track rhinos and later, head off to Budongo forest. Dine and spend a night at Budongo Eco Lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest and visit to the top of the falls
Have breakfast at the lodge and after, join other visitors for a briefing on the set rules and regulations that you have to follow while on a trek to view chimpanzees in Budongo forest. After, kick start your primate adventure through the lush Budongo forest which rewards you with more just chimpanzees. A primate walk in this forest reserve offers you the opportunity to explore varied floral species, birds among others.
Once you have found chimpanzees, you have an hour of magical encounter and for you to take as many photos as possible, explore their behaviors and body gestures. After, return to the lodge to have lunch/carry it packed then drive to the top of the falls and while here, you will get amazed by the powerful roar as it squeezes itself in a narrow gorge.

Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast early in the morning, you will embark on a morning game drive that will excite you with views over lions, African bush elephants, leopards, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, warthogs, birds, buffaloes, and many others.
This exciting wildlife experience may take you about 2 to 3 hours and after, return to have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, set off for a boat trip to the bottom of the falls.
Along the way, don’t miss to catch a glimpse at hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and stunning surrounding areas. At the bottom of Murchison fall, you can either take a walk/hike to the top of the falls or return on the boat ride.

Day 4: Wildlife viewing and a boat cruise to the Albert Delta
Breakfast early in the morning and after, embark on a game drive to the northern bank of River for yet another exciting game drive. Wake up early in the morning and have a hot cup of tea or coffee. After, check out from your respective safari lodge ready to embark on a road trip to Hoima Town and this takes you approximately 3 hours to drive from Murchison Falls National Park.
Drive through Lake Albert which also gets you the best of scenic views of the breathtaking escarpments. Arrive early enough and take part in the cultural walk or have the best of cultural performances at the lodge where you will explore the unique cultures of local residents in this area. Day 6: Depart for Kibale Forest National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, check out from the hotel/lodge. Later, drive to Kibale Forest National Park through Fort Portal Town where you will make a stopover to have lunch.

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking and guided nature walks at Bigodi Wetland

On this day, you will be put in a group of 6 visitors and assigned to 1 park ranger guide who will take you through this primate adventure.

Day 12: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and community visit
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, gather at Bwindi National Park headquarters for you to have a briefing on the set safety measures that you have to observe while tracking mountain gorillas. On this day, make sure that you have some packed lunch and bottled water plus other gear.
A trek to see these creatures may take you about 4 to 8 hours depending on your hiking speed, nature of habitat and their location. Once you find them, you have only an hour of a face to face encounter with them and for you to take as many photos as possible, explore their behaviors. In the evening, you will pay a visit to the Batwa community for you to explore more about the Batwa’s unique cultures and traditions.
