The detailed Itinerary of this 14 Days Uganda Safari
Day 1: Airport pick up
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport early enough and get a warm welcome from our driver guide. After, drive to your respective hotel. It is on this day that you will be briefed on what your 14 days safari in Uganda is about.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After an early morning breakfast, pick up by our driver guide ready to embark on a road trip to northwestern Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park. This will take you about 4 to 5 hours on the road with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for you to track rhinos. After, proceed to Masindi town for you to have lunch at Masindi Hotel and later connect to the park. Arrive early enough and head off to the top of the falls and after, drive to the lodge for you to have a rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning game drive and boat cruise
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, set off for a morning game drive through the northern side of Murchison Falls National Park. While on a game drive along this sector, expect to catch a glimpse at incredible wildlife species such as the African bush elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Oribis, giraffes, lions, leopards, birds a mention but a few. This experience will take you about 2 to 3 hours and after, you drive back to your respective safari lodge for you to have lunch. Later, you have afternoon boat cruise/trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls-one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls. This will reward you with excellent views over a huge concentration of hippos, crocodiles, water birds as well as several savanna grassland wildlife species that roam around the River banks. At the bottom of the falls, get the best views of this natural wonder. You can either get back on a boat or hike to the top of the falls and while here, you will be amazed by the powerful roar of the falls as it squeezes itself with a narrow gorge of about 8 meters before plunging about 43 meters.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
Start the day with a hot cup of tea or coffee and after, check out from your lodge ready to embark on a road trip to Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, make a stopover at Fort Portal while enjoying the breathtaking views over the magnificent Rwenzori Mountain ranges. Proceed to Kibale National Park home to about 13 primate species which include chimpanzees, blue monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, red colobus, olive baboons, L’Hoest monkeys, and others. It also offers refuge to about 350 birds including the black bee-eaters, African green breasted pitta, little greenbuls, Yellow-rumped tinker bird, yellow spotted nicator, the crowned eagle and many more. Besides, you can also catch a glimpse at forest elephants, buffaloes, duikers, bats, duikers as well as butterflies.
Arrive early enough to have rest, dinner and overnight stay at Primate Lodge/Papaya lake Lodge/Ndali Lodge (Luxury), Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse/Chimps Net (Midrange) or Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve and Community Campsite (Basic).
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and guided nature walks in Bigodi Wetland
After your morning breakfast, set off to Kanyanchu visitor center to have a briefing on the set safety measures that you have to observe while on a trek to view chimpanzees. You will be put in groups of 6 visitors and assigned to 1 park ranger guide. After, hit the jungles to look out for these amazing creatures and this may last you about 3 to 4 hours. Besides, you will also catch a glimpse at other primate species like the L’Hoest monkeys, red colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, black and white colobus monkeys, baboons as well as bird species. Return to have lunch and after, drive to Bigodi Wetland for an afternoon guided nature walk that will reward you with excellent views of different primate species such as blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons as well as bird species like the Great blue turaco.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, check out from your safari lodge ready to embark on a 3 to 4 hours’ drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive early enough and have lunch. Rest and set off for evening game drive.

Day 7: Game drive and launch cruise
Wake up with a hot cup of tea or coffee and after, drive to Kasenyi track to take part in exciting morning game drive. This will takes you about 2 to 3 hours and it will reward you with amazing views over wildlife species like elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, leopards and many bird species. After, return to have lunch and rest then set off for an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel. This offers you a chance to spot out many hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and other wildlife species.

Day 8: Drive to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park
Get up early in the morning to enjoy your breakfast and after, drive to Ishasha area, south of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive. While here, expect to sight at the tree climbing lions and many other wildlife species.
Dine and spend a night at Hippo safari lodge/Mweya Safari Lodge/Kyambura Game Lodge/Ishasha Wilderness Camp (Luxury), Bush Lodge/Enganzi Game Lodge (Midrange) or Pumba Safari Cottages/Kazinga Channel View Resort (Budget).
Day 9: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will check out from your respective lodge then head off to western Uganda to Bwindi National Park. En-route, make a stopover at Savanna Resort Hotel for you to have lunch. Proceed thereafter to Bwindi and check in at Buhoma Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury), Silverback Lodge/Gorilla Mist Camp (Midrange) or Buhoma Community Rest Camp (Budget).
Day 10: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and community walk
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, gather at Bwindi park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled water. You will be briefed on dos and don’ts for gorilla trekking and later, you will be put in a group of 8 visitors to track 1 habituated family. After, hit the jungles to search for mountain gorillas in the wild and this will take you about 4 to 8 hours but this depends on your hiking speed, nature of habitat and location of these creatures in the course of the day. Once you find these creatures, you have an hour of a magical encounter with them, explore their behaviors and body gestures. Return to the lodge to have a rest and in the evening, you have community walk to Batwa community that will get you the best of Batwa’s unique cultures, traditions as well as dances and music performances.

Day 11: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up early in the morning and after, head off to Lake Bunyonyi-one of the deepest water lakes in Africa and popular for its little birds. While here, take a boat ride to one of its scenic islands that make up the 29 magnificent islands that are widely distributed within this water body. Other activities for you to take part in this area include community walk/cultural encounter, nature walk/hiking, swimming, birding and many more.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, check out from your safari lodge ready to set off to Lake Mburo National Park. This park is popular for its exceptional wildlife species such as zebras, giraffes, elands, impalas, hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, buffaloes, lions, leopards, bushbucks, and many birds. Arrive early enough and have lunch at the lodge. Later, you have a boat ride along Lake Mburo that will reward you with incredible views over hippos, crocodiles and several bird species.
Dine and spend a night at Mihingo Lodge (Luxury), Rwakobo Lodge (Midrange) or Rwonyo Rest Camp (Basic).
Day 13: Drive to Kampala
Following breakfast early in the morning, check out from your lodge ready to embark on early morning game drive. This will reward you with exciting views over wildlife species like giraffes, zebras, elands, lions, leopards, birds, warthogs and many others. After, drive back to Kampala.

Day 14: Kampala city tour and departure
