After breakfast, you will be picked by our driver guide from your Hotel in Kabale or Kisoro at 6:00 am. Or leave Kigali early enough with a pack of breakfast to be enjoyed en-route.

Proceed to the mist covered Bwindi Impenetrable National Park so that you reach the Park Headquarters or the briefing point on time.

Carry a walking stick, a backpack, enough drinking water (at least 2 liters) and packed lunch or snacks before heading to the Jungles because the gorilla trekking lasts between one and six hours, and hiking is strenuous.

Because you are not familiar with the terrain of the Park, you are advised to hire a porter (at about $15-20) to carry your backpack and support you during hiking. Not to forget, wear a long-sleeved shirt, long trousers, strong waterproof hiking boots, a rain jacket/poncho, and a hat.

Briefing on the tracking guidelines starts from between 7:00 am and 7:30 am, then by 8:00 am, you will venture into the forest in search of the gorilla family you have been assigned to you.

After locating a gorilla family in the wild, you will be allowed to spend only one hour with them. But make sure to maintain a distance of 7 meters away from them to reduce risks of spreading human diseases.
