Discounted gorilla tracking permits for November on high demand

Whenever it clocks to November every year, the demand for gorilla tracking permits increases as the number of tourists interested in viewing these human-like apes increases. The main reason for the increased demand is the discount offered when one purchase a tracking permit which makes safaris to Uganda cheaper compared to other countries. During this time (November) a single gorilla permit costs $350 unlike other months when it costs $600 making it relatively cheaper to track the primates in the thick rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga National Parks.

This year, the demand for the discounted permits for November started way back in June and many people with interests of visiting the country had to book for the permits in time to avoid inconviniences. If you don’t book the discounted permits at least 6 weeks before November, you may find it difficult to acquire one due to the high competition. It is this reason that many tour companies like Maranatha Tours and Travel always remind their clients to book the permits before it’s too late for easy planning of the safari.

Currently, gorilla tracking is Uganda’s leading tourism export and it generates a lot of revenue for the country. This has enabled the industry to develop and as you read this, Uganda is one of the leading tourism destinations in Africa. There are mixed feelings about this but the fact is that this East African country is so adventurous and one can never get bored on a trip especially to any of the ten National Parks which are fully covered with thrilling atmospheres.
