Details of the 1 day Lake Mburo safari
Your 1 day Lake Mburo safari begins from Kampala capital city where you will be picked up by one of our experienced driver guides after you have had a tasty cup of tea or coffee at your respect hotel/area of residence.
At around 6:30 am, you will kick start your journey to western Uganda to Lake Mburo National Park and this may take you 3-4 hours in a good and comfortable 4 wheel drive safari car and 10 minutes will be spent at the Uganda Equator line for photography and perform the South and North experiments.
After, you will drive through Masaka, Lyantonde town till you get to the Nshara park gate of Lake Mburo National Park which comes with lots of astonishing sights at varied wildlife species including waterbucks, impalas among others.
You will proceed with game drive that gets you a chance to look out variety of wildlife species including 3 of the big 5 African game (African leopards, lions and buffaloes), giraffes, zebras, warthogs as well as antelopes (topis, elands, impalas and others), birds to mention but a few.

Best time to visit Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park can be visited at any time of the year, however, the dry season is considered the best time for game viewing and occurs in the months of June, July, August and December, January, February. Game viewing is also fine during the rainy season which starts in the months of March, April, May and September, October, November.
