An amazing trip to the Pearl of Africa
Also referred to as “the pearl of Africa”, Uganda is the most visited African country on the continent making it the best destination for tourism lovers. A lot can be compared about this being the fact that there are other amazing countries with interesting fraternities. However, the uniqueness and splendor which comes with a visit to this East African country is a lifetime experience which is hard to forget. Personally, I took some time and toured the different attractions in Uganda and I was shocked to find that there are certain nature wonders which I had never seen before. I visited the different national parks like Bwindi Impenetrable NP, Queen Elizabeth NP, Murchison Falls and Semuliki National Park. Truthfully what I saw was enough to convince me that nature of Africa starts in Uganda. The thick forests which are homes to different primates are wonderful and as you move through some, different bird species will sing and fly over the whole area. This may sound quite impossible especially moving through the thick forests but the gazzetted tracking paths make the long walking trip a success.
Some of the adventurous attractions that have really put Uganda first as the leading tourism destination are the rare mountain gorillas. These primates have greatly contributed to the increase in the number of visitors received annually by the country. Actually as you read this, Gorilla tracking is the leading tourism activity in Uganda as it attracts the largest number of foreigners. Other adventurous activities carried out on a safari to this country include; chimpanzee trekking, wildlife tours, bird watching, nature & cultural walks, hiking, whitewater rafting, city tours and many more. These are the reasons why it’s always a dream-come true to spend your holiday in Uganda.
Go for a thrilling city tour to some of the historical cities in Uganda like Kampala, Mbale and Jinja. View the eye-catching old fashioned buildings which were built by the early missionaries and Indians. Meet and greet the local people on a city tour and get to hear the historical stories which give a picture of how Africans came into existence.
