Detailed Itinerary 4 Day Jinja And Sipi Falls Tour
Day one: Kampala-Jinja, Eastern Uganda
Today, you will be picked up at accommodation in Kampala capital & drive to Jinja but first, branch off to the Ssezibwa Falls. These charming waterfalls exist in Mukono, and hold unique cultural significance in Buganda Kingdom. From Ssezibwa, continue to Mabira Forest for short forest walk which gets you a chance to sight some of the forest’s primates, birds and floral species. The evening relaxation, dinner will be had once you check in at the hotel: 2 Friends Hotel Jinja or Nile Hotel Jinja
Day two: White water rafting & quad biking
Have breakfast in the morning and you will join other guests for briefing about the white water rafting. Today, you will be part of half day white water rafting excursion leading to the Source of the Nile but after conquering the tough rapids and grades ranging from 1-5. Return from the rafting experience, and late in the afternoon, go quad biking along the Nile River and even ride around communities. For your dinner, get back to 2 Friends Hotel Jinja or Nile Hotel Jinja
Day three: Jinja-Kapchorwa –trek to the 3 waterfalls
Meet the driver guide for pick up and transfer to Kapchorwa district where a hike to the Sipi Falls will be done. The trek leads you via the communities, but the areas of interest are the triple waters at different altitudes of 65m 85 and 100 meters. Have a relaxed lunch, plus the rest of your evening at Sipi River Lodge.
Day four: Depart Kapchorwa for Kampala/Entebbe
A leisurely cup of tea or coffee, after, begin the return trip from Kapchorwa to Entebbe or Kampala. This brings to an end the remarkable 4 days safari in Uganda.
