The fly-in gorilla habituation experience means your trip begins at Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airfield and the landing point will be Kihihi or Kisoro airfield. From Kihihi/Kisoro, you will be transferred safely in a 4×4 safari vehicle up to your accommodation option for a night stay.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Kihihi/Kisoro airstrip

Pick up at the hotel within Entebbe city and take a safe drive in a 4WD with an experienced driver guide from Maranatha Tours and Travel. Catch up with the morning flight to Kihihi or Kisoro airfield, expecting to take about 2 hours. Enjoy aerial views of the countryside and on arrival, meet a local driver for transfer to your gorilla safari lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation

Early in the morning, report at Rushaga sector to get briefed about gorilla habituation guidelines. The park official will be available to also assign you a team to lead you through a search for group and will be a long day of following these apes, observing how they behave and taking pictures. A maximum of 4 hours will be dedicated for you and your colleagues to stay face-to-face with a family of mountain gorillas.

Day 3: Depart
