Detailed Itinerary – 3 Days Mount Elgon Hiking Safari
Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Mbale
Early in the morning after your breakfast, your guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala. En-route at Mbale Town in town for lunch. Proceed to Sipi falls and check-in at the Lodge on arrival.
Day 2: Hiking, forest, and cultural walk
Today, after early morning breakfast, you will participate in hiking. This hike to Wagagai is quite a long walk, steadily uphill, but rarely challenging until you approach rain clouds. Expect Return to the lodge for Lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a nature walk through the Budadiri forest.
Dinner and overnight stay at Sipi Lodge.
Day 3: Return to Kampala.
After early morning breakfast, you will be driven back to Kampala then to Entebbe for your International flight.
