Detailed Itinerary – 1 Day Rwanda Gorilla Tour
Our experienced safari driver will pick you up from your Hotel at the City Precinct of Kigali by 4:30 for the scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park. The scenic drive to this wonderful gorilla Park in the Northern Province of Rwanda takes you through the rolling hills, down to Musanze district. Arrive at the Park Headquarters after two to two and a half hours, in time for registration and orientation on the guidelines to be followed during the trek and observation session. Hire a porter and acquire a walking stick before it’s time to depart for the trek through the jungles and this takes from half an hour to almost half a day depending on the location of the habituated gorilla group. Your efforts are rewarded with a one-hour encounter with the gorilla group to observe and take photos (with a non-flash camera).
Spare some minutes to enjoy your packed lunch before departing for the City of Kigali. Drop-off at the Hotel in the City precinct or Kigali International Airport. This marks the end of our 1 day Rwanda Gorilla Tour.
